Soft Tissue Mobilization
The Graston Technique is an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization technique in which the therapist uses hyper smooth instruments to treat abnormalities and dysfunction in connective tissuse.
How the Graston Technique Works
The Graston instruments are used to identify abnormalities and dysfunction in connective tissue identify. The therapist then uses any number of Graston Technique’s 14 unique treatment strokes to mobilize the tissues. Active exercise post-treatment is encouraged to promote tissue remodeling.
